What's happening at Uttoxeter

People looking for unique stocking fillers to finish off their Christmas shopping can head to the Christmas Market Raceday at Uttoxeter Racecourse.

Taking place on Thursday 24th November, the market will offer a variety of stalls including handmade luxury chocolates from Merry Berry Truffles, jewellery and gifts from Rebecca Louise, quirky offerings from Helen Louise, beauty products from Finishing Touches, and many more.

The market will take place in the Paddock Pavilion and it will also be a normal raceday, meaning that people don't have to sacrifice their day at the races to fight their way around busy shopping centres.

Visitors can wrap up warm and enjoy mulled wine and a mince pie to get them in the festive spirit.

David MacDonald, Executive Director at Uttoxeter Racecourse said: "Our Christmas Market raceday means that people can still come racing and do some Christmas shopping at the same time. The stalls that will be here on the day will be offering really individual gift ideas and make a lovely change from the standard items you might find on the high street.

"There will be all the thrill of the racing to enjoy too, so it'll be a great pre-Christmas day out."

Gates open at 10.15am with the first of six races ready for the off at 12.20pm. Tickets are priced from £15. A Festive Package ticket is available priced at £22 and includes admission to the Premier Enclosure, a glass of mulled wine, a mince pie and a raceday programme.
