UTTOXETER Racecourse is famous for the themes at its racing fixtures. And Saturday afternoon (14 NOVEMBER) is no exception. It's Hog Roast day at the Staffordshire track, and a special admissions package has been so popular that it's already sold out. But, of course, there is still plenty of room for visitors paying for general admission - from the Family Enclosure up to the Premier Enclosure. On the racecourse, there are seven races beginning at 12.30pm. General Manager David MacDonald said: "We're really getting into the midst of the National Hunt season now. Our autumn and early winter race meetings are always fabulously popular at Uttoxeter Racecourse. "We make sure that there's plenty on offer for all of our racegoers - from the keenest followers of jump racing, to visitors just after a pleasant afternoon at the races, right through to our corporate guests." The big race at Cheltenham Racecourse - the Paddy Power Gold Cup - will be shown live on the racecourse's big screen. The final race of seven is at 3.50pm. Admission: Premier Enclosure £20; Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure £16; Centre Course Family Enclosure £8. Accompanied children under 16 always admitted free. Car parking is free.
