Venue Accessibility

Disabled Accessibility

Uttoxeter Racecourse aims to provide an accessible environment for all racegoers, including those with disabilities and where possible, we are happy to make special arrangements to assist.

Disabled Facilities

Our racecourse enclosures cater for disabled customers and their carers (we give carers free admission), as well as space to view the racing we provide the following facilities;

  • Designated disabled parking on tarmacked ground and in close proximity to the main entrance
  • Majority of facilities are at ground level, with wheelchair access to main public areas and toilets
  • Designated toilets accessible with radar key
  • Wheelchair viewing stand overlooking the track on the first bend with dedicated closed-circuit television monitor
  • Induction loop available in 1907 and the Betting Hall
  • Lift access to 1907 and Prince Edward boxes

For more information on accessibility please visit the Visit England website. Click Here

Here at Uttoxeter customers attending who require accessible facilities pay the full admission price, whichever enclosure they choose to enter. For those customers dependent on a carer, the carer can gain free admission to all fixtures on presentation of the blue badge at the gate.
