Accessible Environment

Uttoxeter Racecourse aims to provide an accessible environment for all racegoers, including those with disabilities and, where possible, we are happy to make special arrangements to assist. Our racecourse enclosures cater for disabled customers and their carers (who gets free admission), as well as space to view the racing, we provide the following facilities:

  • Designated parking on tarmacked ground close to the main entrance.
  • Majority of facilities at ground level, with access to main public areas & designated toilets.
  • Wheelchair viewing overlooking the track with dedicated closed circuit television monitor.
  • Induction loop available in 1907 & the Betting Hall.
  • Lift access to 1907 & Prince Edward boxes.

Free Entry for Carers

Carers will receive free admission to the racecourse when accompanying a paying disabled guest.   

Carer tickets can be claimed by bringing in proof of disability on the day of racing e.g. a Blue Badge (with accompanying photo ID), Disability Living Allowance, Personal Independence Payment or signed letter from GP (with accompanying photo ID). You will need to buy a full price tickets first either online and on the day and then speak to a member of staff on the turnstiles about claiming your free carers’ badge. Subject to availability.
