Uttoxeter Races popular caravan site will be reopening in 2024. It will be solely open for a 3-night stay around each racing fixture in our calendar.
The caravan site will reopen it’s doors to guests on Friday 15th March 2024 ahead of The Midlands Grand National Raceday on Saturday 16th March. There are 16 racedays from March-November where you can enjoy a 3-night stay at the racecourse caravan site with a day of racing included on the 2nd day of the stay.
The caravan site will close for winter after our beer festival raceday on the 16th November (departure on the 18th). Each raceday and stay is priced individually which are available to see on our calendar below.
Uttoxeter Racecourse Caravan and Motorhome site is a popular destination for holidaymakers and horse racing fans. Located conveniently near the thrills of Alton Towers Theme Park for family breaks, the Staffordshire caravan site also offers an adjacent course for golfers of all levels.
The site is located within walking distance of the pleasant market town of Uttoxeter where there are many bars and restaurants. The railway station is also conveniently located close to the site and puts you within easy reach of Stoke-on-Trent and the city of Derby.
Bookings must be made through our website and must be paid for in advance of your stay. One standard booking will consist of a 3-night stay for any caravan or motorhome which includes 1 adult, and a free Centre Course race ticket for the raceday. Each additional adult or children in the caravan/motorhome must be paid for, these can be added when booking. All additional people also get a free racing ticket.
Arrival
Arrival time will be between 12 noon and 8pm on the day of your booking. Please call in advance if you are unable to make this time. Arrivals will not be accepted on racedays, which will be the second day of your stay. Security will be onsite 24/7 during your stay, access to the site will only be given if your registration matches the one you have supplied. If these change, please call in advance to let us know.
Please note all of our pitches are sold as standard pitches with awnings and 10amp electrical connections. Hard-standing pitches are available but these will be prioritised for heavier vehicles. Any requests for hard standings will be dealt with on arrival.
Departure
You are free to leave at any point during your stay, however, there may be limitations whilst racing is taking place, we ask all of our guests to depart by 11am on your departure date.
