Uttoxeter Racecourse aims to provide an accessible environment for all racegoers, including those with specific needs. Where possible, we are happy to make special arrangements to assist. Our racecourse enclosures cater for customers with accessibility needs and their personal assistants (who gets free admission), while they enjoy the racing.

Personal Assistants will receive free admission to the racecourse when accompanying a paying guest with accessibility needs.
Personal Assistant tickets can be claimed by bringing in proof of accessible needs on the day of racing e.g. Disability Living Allowance (DLA), Personal Independence Payment (PIP), Attendance Allowance (AA) or Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP). Personal Assistant Tickets will be available to collect from the entrance on arrival. Please note you must provide supporting documentation.

We aim to always provide the highest possible levels of access and have a range of properties and amenities suitable for all.
We constantly review all forms of access and strive to demonstrate best practice in the management of our properties, in the services we provide, and towards the people we employ.
Uttoxeter Racecourse carries out access audits to help identify where improvement is needed and look at solutions to any issues raised. We not only want to comply with relevant legislation, but also to go further in providing a top-quality experience for all visitors. We will take steps to ensure that everyone is treated equally, and that ‘reasonable adjustments’ are made where necessary and possible through sensitive and creative solutions to provide access for all.
Where access to certain properties and amenities is not possible for various reasons, alternative services will, wherever possible, assist in overcoming these restrictions.
Training in accessibility awareness is carried out and will be a continuing process over the coming years.
