Uttoxeter Racecourse is delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for the Hospitality, Leisure and Tourism Award at the 2025 Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce Business Awards, proudly sponsored by iZero. This prestigious award honours businesses across the region that demonstrate outstanding service, innovation, and a positive impact on their community and environment, values that are at the heart of everything we do.
As a venue with deep roots in Staffordshire since 1907, Uttoxeter Racecourse has grown into a vibrant hub for sporting and social occasions. With 24 race meetings a year, including the iconic Midlands Grand National and Summer Cup, as well as a packed calendar of themed racedays, weddings, conferences, and public events, our team welcomed more than 100,000 visitors to 94 events in 2024 alone.
We are particularly proud to have been recognised with the 2024 TripAdvisor Choice Award and the RCA Gold Standard for Owner Experience, celebrating the exceptional standards we uphold for both guests and participants.
Sustainability and community outreach are integral to our mission. Initiatives such as our free raceday for local residents, surplus food donations, and fundraising partnerships with local charities have helped us raise over £7,000 and donate 150 complimentary tickets in 2024 to support vital causes across the region.
This year, we are honoured not only to be a finalist, but also to serve as host venue for the 2025 Business Awards Ceremony, taking place here at Uttoxeter Racecourse on Thursday, 10th July. We look forward to welcoming fellow nominees, partners, and community leaders for an evening that showcases the exceptional talent and dedication that define Staffordshire’s business landscape.
