It's back for it's 4th year and this year it's even bigger and better! Join us for an amazing free entry family day out celebrating recovery, community and wellbeing in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Enjoy live entertainment, creative arts, children's activities, wellbeing activities and inspiring stories from people with lived experience, all designed to celebrate resilience, challenge stigma and promote positive wellbeing.
The event will also showcase local organisations, support services and community groups, creating opportunities to connect, learn and feel supported. Recoverfest is proudly an alcohol-free event, ensuring everyone can enjoy the day in a safe, supportive and inclusive atmosphere. There's something for everyone, making it a fun-filled and inspiring day.
We’re very excited to be able to share that Lucy Spraggan will be entertaining us on the main stage, Lucy is one of the UK's best-loved singer-songwriters, renowned for her honest storytelling and uplifting performances.
Lucy's inspiring journey, authenticity and powerful music make her a perfect fit for Recoverfest, Joining Lucy on the main stage will be an exciting mix of local and national talent. We also have Amy Jo Doherty and the Spangles, award-winning Derby based recovery rock band, Sons of Jericho, bringing a message of hope, resilience, and unity through music and much more to entertain you throughout the day.
The festival's wellbeing programme will feature Josh Connolly, one of the UK's leading resilience speakers, an Amazon bestselling author, mental health advocate and founder of the global Breathing Space community. Josh, whose work around emotional resilience and recovery has reached hundreds of thousands of people and featured across the BBC, ITV and Channel 5, will deliver motivational talks and guided breathwork sessions throughout the day.
Helena Cornes will be joining us in the healing area, leading free yoga and meditation sessions, there will also be drumming circles and cacao ceremonies designed to promote connection, wellbeing and recovery.
