Looking for things to do this May bank holiday? Join us on Staffordshire Day for the Staffordshire Plate Raceday, a popular fixture that marks the start of the new jumps season. With exciting jumps racing, a lively atmosphere and plenty to enjoy off the track, it's a great way to spend a Saturday with friends and family. Get close to the action from the rails, watch the horses in the parade ring and feel the excitement build as they tackle the fences and hurdles. Whether you're a regular racegoer or new to the sport, the Staffordshire Plate is a chance to enjoy a proper day at the races in the heart of Staffordshire.
The fun doesn't have to stop when the racing finishes. We're planning to bring even more to the day with live entertainment to round off your visit. Keep an eye out for updates as we confirm the entertainment programme for 2027.
The Staffordshire Plate is a great opportunity to bring the family along for a day out. Alongside the jumps racing, there may be extra activities to keep younger visitors entertained while everyone enjoys the atmosphere around the course.
