Watch the horses tackle the hurdles and fences, find your spot by the rail and feel the excitement build as they race towards the finish. Whether you're a regular racegoer or fancy trying something different, a summer afternoon at Uttoxeter is a great way to enjoy live sport in a friendly, welcoming setting.
Summer brings its own character to the jumps season, and there's plenty to enjoy at Uttoxeter. Follow the action around the course, watch the horses up close in the parade ring and cheer them on as they take on the challenges of the track.
With the racing at the heart of the day, it's an opportunity to enjoy the skill of the jockeys and the determination of the horses while soaking up the atmosphere of a summer fixture.
Longer days make June a lovely time to visit the racecourse. Take in the views from the grandstand or head trackside to get closer to the action. Between races, there's time to relax with a drink, enjoy some refreshments and catch up with your fellow racegoers. Whether you're coming with friends, family or colleagues, you'll find a welcoming atmosphere and plenty of opportunities to make the most of your afternoon.
Looking for a change of pace? Thursday afternoon racing offers a welcome break from the working week. Enjoy the anticipation before each race, the cheers from the crowd as the horses charge towards the finish and the conversations that carry on between races. You don't need to know every horse or follow every meeting to enjoy a day at Uttoxeter. Come along for the jumps racing, enjoy the surroundings and make an afternoon of it.
